What are the article processing charges (APC)?


Zero APC for publication at ECS Transactions/Journal of the Electrochemical Society or ECS Journal of the Solid State technology. Participants are only paying for the conference registration. We require participant fees to support the expenses of the conference.




What are the benefits of participation in ICTSGS?

Do all authors have to pay?


NO. We would like to reiterate that we are a not for profit entity. Therefore, we have not enforced fee for all authors. However, the presenting author must be registered with the conference. A Non-registered author can not present his/her work.




What is the author & co-author limit per paper?


Four author limit has been enforced per article.




Will Certificates be issued?


Yes, but only digital/electronic certificates. Issuing paper based certificate would go against the very theme of the green conference.




What is SPAST?


SPAST is pronounced as spaṣṭa (in Sanskrit) meaning clear/clarity, apparent, distinct, manifest. SPAST is a platform which was created by like minded academicians, Scientists, Engineers and Entreprenuers. The longterm ambition of SPAST is to empower the sustainable development goals (SDG) of the United Nations through cultivation of good research practices.




What is ECS and ECS Transactions?


The Electrochemical Society (ECS) is of the classical scientific societies established in 1902. Back then it was known as the American Electrochemical Society; over the time its members and authors included scientists, entreprenuers like: E. G. Acheson, who commercialized carborundum, an artificial graphite; H. H. Dow, the founder of Dow Chemical Company; C. M. Hall, the inventor of the Hall process for the manufacture of aluminum; Edward Weston, the founder of Weston Instruments. The articles which were published at the ECS members have ranged from Thomas Edison in 1903 to Gordon Moore (Moore's law) in 1965. Several Nobel laureates have been members of ECS the most recent one being 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. John B. Goodenough, M.
